World Wrap Place began with an idea to combine authentic, middle eastern cuisine and home-style cooking, with a dine-out/take-out experience, making the summer of 2005 when founded and blend in the "make-it-from-scratch" and ''serve-it-fresh'' one-stop wham bam thank you, mam, donair shop. In the past few years, we have evolved into the best grab and grow option in Gastown. Our success is not only due to the quality of our food, but it's also down to attitude, approach and the way we treat our patrons! All of our food is sourced from local farm-fresh suppliers.When you dine at our spot, not only are you supporting local farmers and local but you can also be assured that your meal is prepared with only the highest quality ingredients. We care about what goes into our food and where it is prepared – cleanliness is always our top priority. Inspired by his passion for food and his culture, Word Wrap Place was founded by Majid Shekarchi in 2005. Chef Majid holds many years of experience in both local and middle eastern cooking. Having travelled extensively throughout the Middle East and the world, Chef Majid's knowledge and creativity first became apparent at World Wrap Place where this fusion became a life's work. His reputation and love of cooking with the best and freshest ingredients have made his menu a success. Chef Majid prides himself on never cutting corners when it comes to his unique menu.
